Alligator clips screw into the base of each piece, locking modules together firmly. They hold securely under daily use and release easily when you want to reconfigure.

Yes. Each Bouclé cover is woven from yarn spun from post-consumer PET bottles — 370 per sofa. The recycled content is verified under the Global Recycled Standard and the fabric passes OEKO-TEX Standard 100, confirming no harmful substances carry through from the recycling process.

Yes. Replacement covers for every module and colourway are available individually at any time. If a cover wears, fades, or you want to change the look of your sofa, you can update it without replacing the sofa itself.

Studio: 2-Seater. One bed: 3-Seater. Townhouse: 4 or 5-Seater.

Multilayered foam. Soft on the surface, supportive underneath. Top layer softens over the first two to three weeks. Core holds shape long term.

Each module is rated to 150kg static load. The hardwood frame is built to exceed typical residential use across the 5-year warranty period. If you have a specific load requirement, contact us before purchasing.

The 44cm seat height is on the higher end of the residential sofa range, which makes standing up easier than a low-slung design. If you need specific ergonomic advice, contact us with your requirements and we will give you an honest answer.

64cm seat depth. That is enough to sit cross-legged or recline with legs extended on a chaise. It is intentionally deeper than a standard office-style sofa because the Comma is built for living rooms, not waiting rooms.

We collect and process your refund

Our team will be in touch to organise collection of your order. A flat rate collection fee of $99 is deducted from your refund to cover logistics.

Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item and are issued to the original payment method.

Just keep it in the condition you received it. Normal use during the trial period is expected and perfectly fine.

The warranty is registered to the original purchaser and does not transfer to a subsequent owner. If you sell or gift the sofa, the new owner would not have warranty coverage.

Document it immediately on delivery. Photograph the packaging and the damage before the delivery team leaves. Email hello@1721.com.au within 24 hours with order number and photos. Transit damage is covered and we will arrange replacement or repair at no cost to you.

Yes. A confirmation email is sent immediately after payment. It includes your order number, configuration summary, and estimated dispatch window. If it does not arrive within 10 minutes check your spam folder, then contact us.

Moon, Juniper: Cold handwash, mild soap, air dry in shade.

Blot immediately. Do not rub. Spot clean or remove the cover and wash. Covers come off in minutes so you can be washing within five minutes of a spill.

Minor pilling can occur in the first few weeks. Use a fabric shaver or lint roller.

Bouclé is the most likely due to its curled texture.

Avoid sustained direct sunlight. Use sheer curtains for strong afternoon sun. Lighter colourways show fading less visibly.

Lifts off with a lint roller on all five fabrics. Woven polyester is more resistant to claw pulls than natural fibres. Replacement covers available individually.

Our delivery team removes all packaging on the day. Cardboard is recycled and wrap materials are consolidated. Nothing is left for you to dispose of.
